Rivendell Crafters LLC is a small business in Galena, Kansas. This page explains what information we collect through this website, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Orders. Your name, email, phone number, and your shipping address if you choose shipping. Any notes you add, and any artwork you upload for a custom item.
- Contact messages. Your name, email, and the message you send through the contact form.
- Email list. Your email address, only if you ask to be added to our list. Every email we send to the list has an unsubscribe link.
- Visit logs. When you view a page, our server records your IP address, the page, the site that referred you, and your browser type. We use this to see which pages get used and to block abuse.
We do not see or store your card number. Payments are handled by Square on its own checkout page.
How we use it
- To make, ship, and hand over your order, and to email you about it.
- To answer your messages.
- To send emails to our list, if you joined it.
- To keep the site working and secure.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
- Square processes payments and receives the details needed to take them.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores our data. Its Turnstile check on the contact form tells people from bots and may read basic browser information.
- SMTP2GO delivers our order and contact emails.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts on this site, so your browser requests them from Google.
- Shipping carriers receive your name and address when we ship an order.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect ourselves from fraud or abuse.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser keeps your shopping cart and your light or dark display choice on your own device so they are still there when you come back. You can clear them from your browser settings at any time.
Customer artwork
Files you upload for custom items are kept private and are used only to make your order. An upload that is never attached to an order is deleted automatically after a few days. Files that belong to an order are kept with it so we can handle questions or reorders.
How long we keep things
We keep order records as long as we need them for bookkeeping, taxes, and customer service. We keep contact messages and visit logs for as long as they are useful, and delete them when they are not.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We may need to keep some order records to meet legal or tax requirements. Contact us at chad@rivendellcraftersllc.com or through our contact page.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page.
