These terms cover your use of this website and any order you place with Rivendell Crafters LLC. By placing an order you agree to them.

Orders and payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm it by email. Payment is taken through Square. If we cannot fill an order, for example because an item is unavailable, we will tell you and refund anything you paid.

Prices

Prices are in US dollars and include sales tax. Shipping, if you choose it, is added at checkout. We can change prices at any time, but a price will not change after you have ordered.

Handmade products

Everything we sell is made by hand to order. Slate, wood, and leather vary naturally, so grain, color, and markings will differ a little from piece to piece and from the photos on this site. This is part of what makes each piece unique and is not a defect.

Custom items and your artwork

When you upload artwork or provide text for a custom item, you confirm that you have the right to use it. Do not send material you do not own or have permission to use, or anything unlawful or hateful. We can refuse or cancel any custom order for these reasons and will refund you if we do. Engraving results depend on the material and the quality of the file you send, and we will contact you if we need a cleaner copy. You keep ownership of your artwork and we use it only to make your order.

Using this website

Please do not misuse the site, attempt to break into it, or overload it. The photos, text, designs, and logo on this site belong to Rivendell Crafters LLC and may not be copied or reused without our permission.

Liability

We take care with every piece, but our products are decorative and gift items. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.
